Passalacqua

Passalacqua is an intimate eighteenth-century luxury hotel set above the western shore of Lake Como in Moltrasio. Built for Count Andrea Lucini-Passalacqua and restored by the De Santis family, the estate combines historic interiors, terraced gardens and direct access to the lake within a highly private residential setting. The property has 24 guest accommodations spread across the Villa, Palazz and Casa al Lago, surrounded by approximately seven acres of landscaped gardens descending towards a private jetty. Wedding celebrations can move between the terraced gardens, lakefront spaces and richly decorated historic interiors, making Passalacqua particularly suited to intimate destination wedding weekends rather than very large receptions. Recent Lake Como wedding specialists generally place the ideal wedding size at around 40–80 guests. Full-property exclusivity is typically required for larger private wedding celebrations, allowing the couple and their guests to use the hotel, gardens and event spaces as one private estate. Passalacqua does not publish a fixed wedding rental price. Wedding and exclusive-use arrangements are quoted individually according to the date, length of stay, number of rooms, guest count, catering and event programme.
