Villa Balbiano

Villa Balbiano is one of Lake Como’s most extraordinary private wedding venues, set directly on the western shore of the lake in Ossuccio. Dating back to the late sixteenth century, the historic palazzo is surrounded by more than two hectares of formal gardens and combines original seventeenth-century frescoes, richly decorated interiors, an outdoor swimming pool, private pier and boathouse. Weddings can take place across the lakeside gardens, terraces and historic interiors. The estate can host celebrations of up to around 200 guests, while more intimate dinners can be held inside the villa. For larger receptions, a glasshouse in the gardens provides a weather-protected dinner and party space without leaving the estate. Villa Balbiano also offers accommodation on site. The main palazzo contains six individually designed suites for up to 12 guests, while additional accommodation elsewhere on the estate can increase the total to around 30 guests. Private boat access allows couples and guests to arrive directly from Lake Como. Venue hire is available exclusively and pricing depends significantly on the length of the rental and guest count. Current 2026–2027 pricing information places a one-day weekday event from approximately €57,500, with multi-day celebrations and larger guest counts costing considerably more.
