Villa Cipressi

Villa Cipressi is a historic lakefront wedding venue in Varenna, surrounded by one of Lake Como’s most distinctive terraced botanical gardens. The complex developed between the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries and today combines a four-star hotel, historic reception rooms, gardens descending towards the lake and direct boat access. Villa Cipressi is also an official venue for legally recognised civil ceremonies in Varenna. Couples can hold civil or symbolic ceremonies on the lakefront terrace, followed by an aperitivo in the gardens and dinner either outdoors or inside the villa’s historic rooms. For 2027 weddings, the venue offers two different formats. The Daily option accommodates up to 49 guests, while the Full Property option allows seated wedding receptions for up to 100 guests and includes exclusive use of the hotel for the event together with a two-night stay. The property has 31 rooms and suites, accommodating 62 guests at standard double occupancy and up to approximately 72 with approved extra beds. Current 2027 pricing starts from €10,000 for the Daily option in low season. Full Property weddings start from €54,000 for a two-night exclusive stay, before wedding catering and additional production costs.
