Lake Como Wedding venue
Villa Geno
Villa Geno is a historic neoclassical wedding venue set directly on the waterfront in the city of Como. Built in the nineteenth century and surrounded by landscaped gardens overlooking Lake Como, the villa combines frescoed interiors, panoramic outdoor spaces and one of the most accessible lakefront locations in the region. Weddings can use both the gardens and the villa’s historic reception rooms. The property has traditionally hosted civil and symbolic ceremonies, with lakefront ceremony layouts, outdoor receptions and indoor dining options. A private landing point also makes boat arrivals possible from across Lake Como. Villa Geno does not provide overnight guest accommodation, but its location close to central Como gives couples access to a wide range of hotels within a short transfer from the venue. Villa Geno entered a new management phase in 2026 following a new municipal concession. Guest capacity, pricing and event conditions should be confirmed directly with the venue.
