Dear friends,

we are happy to invite you to our next wedding photography workshop, which will take place at the iconic Villa Regina Teodolinda on Lake Como in 2026 (exact date to be announced).

We are looking forward to an inspiring day together with you, filled with a captivating European atmosphere, a sense of nostalgia and the unmistakable charm of Lake Como – a place couples from all over the world choose for their wedding.

LOCATION:  Villa Regina Teodolinda

About the project:

This time, we will focus on the atmosphere of those very iconic Lake Como weddings that photographers, videographers, wedding planners and other vendors dream of. Together with our team and an actively working wedding planner, we will recreate that luxurious, slightly nostalgic feeling of celebration that makes couples from all over the world choose Lake Como for their wedding.

For photographers and videographers, this is not only an opportunity to build a portfolio that reflects their own unique vision, but also a chance to connect with our team, including the wedding planner, and lay the foundations for future real wedding projects.

For photographers & videographers – what you’ll gain

– A complete high-end Lake Como wedding story in your portfolio (photo and/or video).
– Real wedding-day timing and scenarios created together with an actively working wedding planner.
– Direct contact with our team and planner – we often expand our pool of second photographers and videographers from people we already know and have worked with.
– Content that speaks to destination wedding couples and planners and helps you book real European weddings in 2026–2027.

Throughout the shoot, we will strive to incorporate as many scenarios as possible to achieve a complete wedding day experience, such as: Getting Ready, Ceremony, Couple's shoot, Party, and more.

1. Participation Fee and Payment

1.1. The participation fee for the workshop will be invoiced after receipt of the registration. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all amounts are quoted exclusive of VAT. Any VAT that is legally applicable will be added to the invoice.

1.2. A deposit of 50% of the participation fee is due upon invoicing. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than seven (7) calendar days before the workshop date.

1.3. Participation in the workshop is only guaranteed once the payments specified in clause 1.2 (deposit and remaining balance) have been received in full and on time. If the remaining balance is not received by the deadline, the Organizer reserves the right to reallocate the place. In such a case, the cancellation terms in section 2 apply accordingly.

1.4. The Organizer is not liable for loss of or damage to equipment, personal belongings, or for any injuries suffered by participants during travel to and from the workshop or during the workshop itself, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Organizer. Participants are strongly advised to arrange adequate personal, travel, and equipment insurance.

2. Cancellation by the Participant

2.1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to a.simon.fotografie@gmail.com. The date of receipt of the email by the Organizer shall be decisive for the calculation of any cancellation fees.

2.2. The following cancellation fees apply (calculated on the full participation fee):

From 30 days up to and including 3 days before the workshop date:
A cancellation fee of 50% of the participation fee will be charged.

Less than 3 days before the workshop date or in case of no-show:
A cancellation fee of 100% of the participation fee will be charged.

2.3. The participant is entitled to nominate a suitable replacement participant in their place, subject to prior written approval by the Organizer. In such a case, the Organizer may waive part or all of the cancellation fee at their sole discretion.

2.4. Any bank or transaction fees incurred in connection with refunds shall be borne by the participant.

3. Liability of the Organizer

3.1. The workshop concept, schedule, and content may be subject to reasonable changes (e.g. due to weather conditions, availability of locations, models, or service providers). The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent alternative in such cases. Such changes do not entitle the participant to a reduction of the participation fee or to compensation.

3.2. The Organizer is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.

3.3. The participant is responsible for their own behavior during the workshop and must follow the instructions of the Organizer and any third-party service providers (e.g. venues, models, planners). Any damage caused by the participant to property or persons must be compensated by the participant directly.

4. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In place of the invalid provision, a valid provision shall be deemed agreed which comes closest to the economic intent of the invalid provision.

These General Terms and Conditions enter into force upon publication and remain valid until amended or revoked by the Organizer.

5. Invoicing, VAT and Reverse Charge

5.1. All participation fees are understood as net amounts, unless explicitly marked as gross, and are subject to VAT at the applicable statutory rate where VAT is legally due.

5.2. For business clients for whom the reverse charge mechanism applies under the applicable VAT regulations (for example, entrepreneurs established in another EU Member State who provide a valid VAT identification number), the invoice will be issued with 0% VAT under the reverse charge mechanism. In this case, the recipient is responsible for reporting and paying the VAT in their country in accordance with local law.

5.3. For participants booking as private individuals, as well as for business clients for whom the reverse charge mechanism does not apply, invoices will be issued including VAT at the applicable statutory rate.
